Established in 2017, Food Tours is a travel guide focused on recommending the best food tours in Europe.

Travelling for food is one of life’s great experiences. You not only learn about the cuisine but local customs, history and culture.

Taking a walking food tour is one of the best ways to get started on that journey.

But food tours aren’t the only way to discover Europe. Attending a local food event, gourmet food festival or farmers’ market is always interesting.

Learning to cook local specialties, finding locally roasted specialty coffee or spending a few days at a farm stay are other options.

Food tours are curated by travel blogger Andrea Anastasakis based on personal experiences and extensive research.

–

At Food Tours, I list places where you can find each of these food experiences.

The guides have a strong focus on sustainability and I recommend sustainable or eco-friendly tours whenever possible. This generally means supporting local guides and small businesses.

You’ll also find responsible travel tips for each destination with the aim of encouraging lower-impact travel decisions.

You can meet the full team here.
